Pre-Fap Phase

Do you remember the time before you got trapped by Porn & Fap Addiction? How were your days? What did you do in your free time? How was your mental state? How often did you sexualize your mind and objectify every female you saw on the streets? Answer these questions with utmost sincerity. This is the innocence phase of yours that was unaware of what’s yet to come, something that would destroy your absolute potential.

The worst part is that there was hardly any movement in the internet world when you were most vulnerable. There was no one to alert you(obviously parents and elders must have told you at least once about not being involved in these habits, but there was no depth in their explanation as to why not to do it) about the outcome, maybe because our previous generations were not as much spoilt as we are, they had no access to so much of data at their fingertips. It was only till millennials started sharing their bad experiences that we started realizing that this is a big trap we once thought to be a source of relaxation and pleasure. Parents trusted you and your innocence but had no idea what kind of addict you were about to turn into in a matter of time.

All this happened while the internet world was booming, ever wondered why so many adult websites exist today? For many people, the Internet has become a tool to pleasure themselves through viewing adult content. Social Media, Movies, Web Series, and every form of entertainment made sure that people are constantly getting bombarded with hypersexualized content in the name of entertainment.

Fap Phase

When a young boy(a teenager) gets into the habit of watching adult content(or porn), he not only loses his precious time and energy, he loses his vitality, his strength, his lifeforce, his aura and of course, his ability to do almost anything. He starts destroying his creative force, which is so potent that it can produce a new life, by viewing hypersexualized content. He trains his mind only to get stimulated through overly edited, highly unrealistic visuals far from reality.

With time this addiction becomes stronger which results in not having any interest in anything, having no passion, no energy and being nothing but a degenerate loser. A man who loses his lifeforce loses his ability to experience life at its best. There are numerous changes that one undergoes when one watches adult content and indulges in self-pleasuring activities(PMO), some of them are:

  • Feeling tired all day long
  • Blurred vision

  • Lack of confidence
  • Approach anxiety

And that happened because there was this ray of light which guaranteed a better life provided you follow the path of discipline.

The difference between Pre Fap Phase and Post Fap Phase is that earlier you were naive, vulnerable and immature to decide what you want to put into your life, but now you are experienced with what kind of hell it can be to take that road(the road of degeneracy) in your life again. You now have mental fortitude, willpower and self-discipline to know what is valuable in your life and what is not. This foritude only comes when one decides to get out of that hell which can destroy your life in front of your eyes if you don’t act.

So here are some changes which you may notice once you come out of this bad habit and have a streak of at least 90 days:

Note: If you don’t notice some or any of the benefits at the 90-day mark, you may take more days for it to happen but don’t think about quitting because even if you don’t feel anything at the surface level, wonders are happening within you. So don’t think that after 90 days you are free to do that all over again.

I can go on and on with the benefits but the point is to let you know that leaving PMO and adopting a lifestyle of discipline is the right choice any given day. You won’t regret sticking to the default mode i.e., staying Celibate. Yes, you read that right, being Celibate is the default mode in your life, you willingly add different habits(bad habits especially) into your daily routine which then makes you habitual of breaking your default mode.

Connection from the Gurukools of Ancient India

In Ancient India, Gurukools(schools in Ancient India) implemented the practice of Brahmacharya(The Path of Highest Potential, the process is through Celibacy with devotion) till the age of 25 to be mandatory for both Boys and Girls. After the age of 25, it was up to the individual how long one wanted to stay Celibate, usually, people(the ones who went to the Gurukools) stayed that way till their marriage.

How to Counter the Addiction?

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you counter your addiction:

Step 1: Before solving any problem in our lives, we first need to acknowledge that the problem exists. Many people still live in denial and believe that Fap Addiction is a myth and that Adult Content does no harm to our minds. They can’t be more wrong than that. So, the first step is to admit that the problem needs to be solved.

Step 2: Now that you know there is a problem, and after reading this article till here you have realized how much harm it does to your mind and body, you now need to pick all of the direct and indirect reasons(or Trigger Points) behind falling into that trap like following various Models on social media, constantly stimulating your mind with images and adult videos, thinking too much about sexual activities and everything that has chances of increasing your urges, throw them away. Remove those bad habits out of your routine.

Step 3: Eliminating your trigger points always felt like an impossible task. It is, to some extent, for the unwilling. But for you, it must not be because your goals are bigger than this mere issue. Once you get rid of trigger points, the only thing that is left is a good routine full of discipline. Just keep on following that ‘Good’ routine which is free from all sorts of distractions, relapses, and unnecessary stimulation. Keep yourself busy throughout the day and never give your brain time to think about anything sexual, this is how you desexualize your brain and use urges to your advantage. Step 4: So, you have a good routine now, you have cleared all sorts of crap out of your daily routine. Still, there will be some moments when urges want to take over your mind, this is the time when your actual battle starts. All that sexual energy inside your body wants to be used in some way or the other, a naive person suffering from Fap Addiction will use it for a release, for merely a few seconds of self-pleasure, meanwhile, a wise person will use this energy to perform his other more important tasks like Workout, Studies, UpSkilling, Creativity, Craft or any other activity which requires energy to create(sexual energy is highest form of energy in your body, the creative energy). Use your energy in the right direction and get your dopamine the hard way, never aim for cheap dopamine, it’s a trap. Why are you looking for energies outside when you hold the greatest energy of creation within you?

Step 5: Do Naam Jap (Chant any one of the Holy names out of 1000s of names like Ram, Krishna, Hari, Narayan etc) of the Almighty Lord Vishnu(The Preserver Deity) or Lord Shiva(The Destroyer Deity) whenever you feel like negative energy is taking over your mind and forcing you to relapse. The name of the Lord is Supreme.

Step 6: Tire your body. This is the most crucial aspect of staying Brahmachari(Celibate)and keeping a long-lasting streak. You need to tire your mind and body every single day. You’ll notice changes in your energy levels once you start this journey. This energy cannot be stopped, it can only be channelled. So, please do rigorous workouts and engage in difficult and tiring activities to use that energy completely, otherwise, it wouldn’t be long before you see yourself wanking again, or even having wet dreams. The more you tire yourself every day, the better for your Brahmacharya.

Step 7: Relapse happens when you are in a comfortable environment when you know you have nothing else to do. Make sure you erase such a comfort zone from your life to succeed in your NoFap Mission. Don’t get too lazy and start working on your goals.

Step 8: Discipline is eating the right food, and taking the right diet to get the nutrition your system needs to function optimally. Eating Junk, Taamsik and Unhealthy food hinders your Brahmacharya(Celibacy/NoFap) and results in either a relapse or a wet dream. You need a balanced diet which contains Grains, Vegetables, Fruits and Dairy. The right diet fuels your system to perform well and not get tired easily. There are a lot many reasons to eat healthy and you know that, don’t you? What you become depends on what you eat.

Step 9: Start taking Cold Showers(even in winter until it is bearable and safe). The reason is that it cools down your system and lowers your urges to release. Also, it is beneficial for your Dopamine release because you are getting dopamine the hard way. Cold Water makes you more alert, removes laziness and makes you more active, meanwhile, Warm Water relaxes you, calms you down and makes you comfortable(the ideal condition for urges to return). Both hot water and cold water have their specific uses, but to counter your Fap Addiction you need a Cold Water bath every day. A cold shower also helps you optimise your testosterone levels and increase your sperm count, so it’s a win-win situation. Cold showers are the gateway to flow, energy and peace

Step 10: Give yourself bigger purposes in life. This is by far the greatest force to counter any addiction in your life. When you give yourself a bigger purpose which is truly yours, you do whatever it takes to fulfill your purpose. The same way goes with your Fap Addiction, once you have a bigger purpose in your life, you’ll not waste your Time, Energy and your Life Force(Semen) on useless activities which are destroying you. Rather you’d like to spend your Time, Money, Energy, Resources and Life Force in the right direction i.e., your Goals, your Ambitions, your Mission, and your Purpose. Give a man a purpose and the ability to achieve it and he will crawl over broken glass with a smile.

Step 11: Help others who are struggling with their addictions, it will give a sense of responsibility to work on your weak areas to become better. Help your friends and have a friendly challenge with them, create a competitive environment to improve, read that again, a competitive environment to improve(not to defeat anyone, not to oppress anyone…just to improve each other) and you’ll see that not only you are doing well, but your entire friend circle is doing well. Push each other in each other’s down times, and motivate them to do better. If you want to go fast, go alone; If you want to go far, go together.

All of these 11 Steps will ensure that you come out of this mental prison called Fap Addiction because this Adult Film Industry is not gonna let you go away easily provided you have an Iron Will.
